Hi,

I have made it work under 8.10, recompiling pcscd for libusb instead of
libhal. It seems that the driver needs access to the libusb structures.
In fact, in the latest version for EZUSB (1.4.6) readme points out that
using pcscd compiled with libhal won't work.

It is not a clean solution, but unless the source code is made
available, I see no other option.
