Same error message here:

but it works anyway.

System: ubuntu 8.10
2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 22:15:32 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

According to the howto I sync like this:

#!/bin/bash
synce-sync-engine > synce-sync-engine.log &
msynctool --sync synce-sync 
killall synce-sync-engine

       Status: New => Incomplete
