I'm on Ubuntu Jaunty alpha 3, and my TI-84+ doesn't Just Work with the
old tilp in repos.

Expectation : plug it in, Ubuntu pops up a Window : 'You have connected a device that requires additional software to function completely.  (TiLP2)
[cancel] [install]

*click install*
apt installs TiLP2 and all dependencies
if kernel module, load it, add it to auto-load on connect
start application, app sees device, user is good to go.
