I really appreciate the split of the doc packages. But I don't see how
my bug report is related to that.

What I am reporting is that there are still some megabytes of
documentation left in a non-documentation package. I think the fix is
simply to move these files to the appropriate doc sub-package or, if
none seems appropriate, in texlive-doc-base.
