No, this bug is not fixed in Jaunty (I'm running up-to-date Jaunty and I
still have this problem, see the comments above).

And yes, you don't have to open a second window. The title of this bug
report is not very accurate: gnuplot freezes when you try to plot a
second graph, close the window or reactivate the window.
