[Bug 397941] [NEW] Gmail painfully slow in Shiretoko

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

Firefox 3.5 from Jaunty Updates is much slower in Gmail than 3.0.x and
uses one core while being idle in Gmail app.

It is strange because it is hyped to be much faster for JS intensive
applications. In fact the Windows version I use at work is at least at
the same level as 3.0.x was or faster.

Have anyone also observed similar symptoms with FF 3.5?
