[Bug 398129] [NEW] Cannot start Synfig Studio

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04.

I installed Synfig Studio through "Add/Remove Applications". After
installing it, and even restart Ubuntu, Synfig Studio does not run.

I tried to run Synfig Studio by clicking Applications -> Graphics ->
Synfig Studio. I can see "Starting Synfig Studio" on the bottom panel.
But, after that, nothing happened.

Other users also having the same problem. Please look at the forum
thread at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1210231 .

In terminal, we tried to type "synfigstudio" and press enter to run the
application, but the program does not run and the terminal displayed
"Segmentation fault" message.

Hope that this can be fixed.
