Great! That means we can close this bug. Please report any other bug(s)
that you may find in Karmic, since knowing about them at this time means
that it has a reasonable chance of being fixed in time for the release.

Unfortunately not -- at least not as a general update -- unless we know
exactly what causes the problem and how to fix it without side effects.
That being said, a lot of people have found their problems fixed by
using the drivers in the x-updates PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/). The 2.7.1
version of the -intel driver solves many problems, but not all. Some
problems can also be fixed by upgrading the kernel to the karmic
version.
