FWIW i totally agree.
I've just been giving up on maintaining m-n.
Note that LIU Qi just took over. Hopefully his first upload to Debian unstable (5.4.dfsg.1-2) will propagate to Ubuntu "soon".

Note that it was just upload and has not fully propagated on the servers yet.
