Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: uswsusp

Description:	Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS
Release:	8.04
uswsusp:
  Installed: 0.6~cvs20070618-1ubuntu2
  Candidate: 0.6~cvs20070618-1ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 0.6~cvs20070618-1ubuntu2 0
        500 http://10.0.0.51 hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Problem:
Ubuntu 8.04 uses UUID in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume.

When doing `sudo aptitude install uswsusp', the installation process
reads that file to create /etc/uswsusp.conf, particularly to fill the
value of `resume device'.

However, since `uswsusp' cannot understand UUID format, it will issue
the following message during the installation process:

--- 8< ---
The swap file or partition that was found in uswsusp's configuration file is not active. In most cases this means
userspace software suspend will not work for you and you will need to choose (or let uswsusp choose) another swap
space. In some corner cases however, this can be what you want.

Continue without a valid swap space?
--- 8< ---

Expected: `uswsusp' must understand UUID format.

** Affects: uswsusp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
