Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Focus follows mouse does not work as without desktop effects and leads
to odd behaviour of focus.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open terminal and Gedit on workspace 1
2. Focus on Gedit
3. Move to workspace 2, move mouse to place where terminal is on workspace 1
4. Return to workspace 1, the terminal is focused

This can be confusing to user, because it works differently than without
desktop effects where the focus is preserved in workspace switches. The
current behaviour is also annoying for example when coding and you use
another workspace to check documentation with Firefox: Every now and
then you resume with a focus in a wrong window than you thought you
would have.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
