[Bug 405626] [NEW] Gwibber fails to retrieve responses (@ replies) from identi.ca

I am using the gwibber-daily repository from https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-daily/+archive/ppa
Since build  gwibber - 1.2.0~bzr349-0ubuntu1~daily1 , I've been noticing this problem and it is still present in  gwibber - 1.2.0~bzr350-0ubuntu1~daily1

Basically Gwibber fails to retrieve @ replies from identi.ca
When I open the error messages window, I get the following message which is the same one that continuously repeats whenever Gwibber looks for @ replies from identi.ca

                         Value Error: Invalid control character at:  line 1 column 8573 (char 8573)
