[Bug 407258] [NEW] reverse proxy connections through apache randomly result in 408 timeout

Public bug reported:

I have found this problem using a backported package from Jaunty.
I am using an apache web server with mod_proxy a front-end to the cherrypy server running on a different host, under heavy load the cherrypy server starts returning HTTP error code 408 messages.
I have asked for help on cherrypy IRC channel, I was pointed to patch:

I have applied the patch cp-ticket-847.patch mentioned on the ticket and
it fixed the problem, this patch should be included on Ubuntu's package.
