I use the vlc-1.0.0~rc2-1ubuntu1 package.

When compiz is enabled and vlc is in fullscreen the wallpaper is drawn for a short time when
I move the mouse. This is very annoying.

Attached is the output of vlc -vvv when in fullscreen mode and moving
the mouse.
