I am running Jaunty beta updated 31/3 09
the package version is 0.2rc1-1ubuntu1

When I create a new tool in the tools section of the gedit-latex-plugin
settings it does not save it, so the settings are gone the next time I
open gedit.

I am trying to create a tool that generates a pdf from a dvi through dvipdf. 
I select new in the tools section and enter the appropriate command lines and it works fine, until I close gedit. The settings are not saved to   ~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins/GeditLaTeXPlugin/tools.xml which I assume they should be.
