[Bug 370568] [NEW] Resizing windows is really slow

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Resizing windows in normal mode(where one sees the content of the window
in realtime scale), goes in around 10 fps and applying a resize of a
window with any mode takes about a second for it to take effect.

I am running the proprietary ATI drivers
