*** This bug is a security vulnerability ***
Public security bug reported:
When I install the package writer2latex, as soon as dpkg starts
configuring the package, the kernel completly crashes. I could reproduce
the bug under serveral circumstances, with synaptic or with aptitude
(even with no X server running at all). Unfortunately, I cannot post the
backtrace the kernel then outputs here, as the computer completly
crashes. It says something about a recursive problem --- I guess some
sort of deadlock or recursive dependency in the file system, because the
backtrace contains some fputs and fgets.
When I run the default kernel (2.6.28-11-generic), everything works
fine.
I am using Kubuntu Jaunty.
