1) After reading
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=890843

I've had added

Section "Device"
        Identifier "Configured Video Device"
        Option "AccelMethod" "UXA"
        Option "Tiling" "No"
EndSection

to xorg.conf
with the same stability problems

2) Also changed to qt-curve theme, feeling better but not ok.

3) I was suffering also the "graphical corruption in multiple applications with qt4.5" issue
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=187356 as far as I remember since the first time I installed kubuntu-alpha4,
making konqueror and others kde applications almost unusable
(that's why I think downgrading to qt4.4 will not fix the issue)

4) If the problem deals with qt4.5+kde4.2.2+inteldriver as noted in http://www.mail-archive.com/ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com/msg1469014.html
I think I'll prefer to upgrade to Karmic than apt-pinning my config files
or better I'll wait until the next upgrading packages in jaunty
