this is  a bug report on ubuntu u reported a bug about sun java 6 .
thats why you are receiving whats supposed be updates via email

Status in “sun-java6” source package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Did this at a terminal window..,

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Stupid bug, you cannot export the GUI license of Sun Java to accept it so you
have to CTRL-C after escape. I tried to press return at Sun license <ok>
in the terminal at command line but could not. 

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/sun-java6-jre_6-10-0ubuntu2_all.deb: subprocess
pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

synaptic manager
expected sun java6 to down load and install and work!!!
next happened, the bloody thing said crash detected, and sent me on this merry
go round
