[Bug 369087] Re: Totem Movie Player & VLC does not work

Visited both above. Still no solution. 
Streaming video works inside browsers.
None of the video players I've tried now works. (VLC, Totem, RealPlayer11Gold)
Also cannot Desktop Effects cannot be enabled. 
All the above used to work fine in 8.10
