[Bug 374288] [NEW] Brasero freezes when changing MP3 with focus during preview load

I am running Ubuntu Intrepid, Ubuntu 8.10.
Kernel 2.6.27-11.31-generic x86
Brasero version 0.8.2-0ubuntu1

I can duplicate this on demand.
I run brasero from the terminal (doesn't have to be from here, just doing it here to look for error messages).  Receive error "I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/home/jon/.config/brasero/brasero.session""
Brasero then opens in gnome.  
Select audio project.  I see a file explorer initially set to my home directory.  I move around in the file system, and go to a directory containing MP3s.  If I just let it sit then after a few seconds the Preview Pane will open for the MP3 file which is initially selected.  Then I click on the next file and the same happens.
HOWEVER if I click on another MP3 file while the preview for the first one is still generating the app freezes.  Does not respond to further input.  The screen then goes to that greyed out "busy state" or whatever it is.  I have left it like this for a few minutes but just sits there.  In the preview pane toward the bottom of the window it is stuck on "Loading information about MP3name".

I am browsing on an internal hard drive.  I have tried many different
folders containing MP3s.  Always the same result.  Terminal doesn't show
any further messages.  I have to kill it.  If I turn off preview then I
have no problems.
