i can confirm this matter;

After installing from alternate-cd Kubuntu 9.04 - i386 without problems
on my Fujitsu-Siemens CelsiusH210 (Pentium4) Laptop - the system does
not start completely again after reboot; it hangs when kde starts up and
shows the first four kde icons on startup screen after login; change to
console not possible - only new start with power-button;

start in recovery-mode and try to update; apt-get find 66 packages to
upgrade, but can not make it

above mentioned error is shown (only the last line does not --> "apt-get
update failed, error=100")

(i do not know, if other problems are involved, because of xserver
trouble under my ATI FireGL Mobility T2 (M10) NT (AGP) graphic card
under Kubuntu 8.10 - no working gui possible - only 8.04 runs! because
of this i try under 9.04 again and Xorg.0.log shows no errors yet)
