As the original reporter of this bug:
Please remove the the Camorama package from the repositories. 

Camorama is no longer maintained (no release in two years).
Functionally, this application has been deprecated in favor of Cheese.

I will not be able to further test the bug, since I no longer run Linux
natively. (I got Jaunty in a VM with windows 7 host).
