[Bug 379788] [NEW] [backport request] libxdg-basedir is broken on Jaunty.

Public bug reported:

libxdg-basedir doesn't do as advertised, and one of its functions
completely fails for its intended purpose. The bug fix was addressed in
bug 375783, but the change was never backported to Jaunty, where I still
experience the problem. Please backport libxdg-basedir (or the fix) to
Jaunty.
