Hi Vivichrist,

I'm back online again and can confirm that my second attempt building the kernel was a succes!
I'm running the Ubuntu Studio RT patched generic kernel and realtime behaviour is ok, and don't see any problems.

The kernel I have spinning as we speak is : 2.6.29.4-rt15-all-
nvk-052509-1

My offer to provide anyone with installation files is still open (see
previous messages) but send me a mail first :
realtime.dutchman<at>gmail.com

I hope there is someone out there who wants to test the files.

As far as I'm concerned and able to judge the situation, we have solved
the kernel problem.
