A few weeks ago (some time in early May) k9copy started hanging when it should start authoring.
I thought it might be that it depended on some kde service that was not
installed (I run gnome), so I did an "apt-get install kde", but it still
hangs.
Standard output shows that it should run the command:
" dvdauthor -x /tmp/kde-markgalassi/k9copy/k9aj15005.xml"
but it never executes that. Note that I can run that command from the
shell and it works very well.
If I run k9copy under strace there is way too much output, but where it
hangs it's in a loop of failing read() calls (EAGAIN error) and poll()
calls (timeout). I append them below in case they are useful instead of
being boiler plate window system calls.
