On your Hardy or Intrepid host, open a command line terminal and do:

sudo apt-get install devscripts

dget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/c/cups-pdf/cups-
pdf_2.5.0-1ubuntu1.dsc

dpkg-source -x cups-pdf_2.5.0-1ubuntu1.dsc

cd cups-pdf-2.5.0

debuild -uc -us

sudo debi
