[Bug 382093] [NEW] daemontools-run1.0.76-3 failed to install or upgrade

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: daemontools

ubuntu 9.04.   Installed ubuntu; installed vlc media player and listened to groove salad, streaming via soma.fm radio.
  Decided to run KDE desktop; installed packages but could not get vlc media player to stream radio. Decided not to run KDE desktop on this computer (have mandriva running on laptop using default KDE);removed KDE packages and installed some other packages and was presented with the current error(as noted in summary)  and again on subseqent installations trying to rectify the error.
