[Bug 470080] [NEW] FCGIWrapper breaks without optional argument 'suffix'

Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-fcgid

The documentation for the FCGIWrapper directive clearly states that the
'suffix' parameter is optional.  However, upstream previously had a bug
where without the 'suffix' field, the directive would fail.

Syntax error on line 23 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/[redacted].vhost.conf:
Invalid wrapper file extension

Not using a suffix makes sense for those of us who want to do our own
request handling using virtual URLs that map to resource names, not
actual files on disk (e.g. RESTFUL).

I cannot use fcgid as it exists in Ubuntu.

Fortunately, upstream developed a patch:

I would like to see the Ubuntu version of fcgid upgraded to the ASF
release (http://httpd.apache.org/mod_fcgid/mod/mod_fcgid.html#upgrade)
and/or a patch included to fix this issue (I'm unsure whether the svn
commit I linked is in the latest ASF version).
