Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose

Hi!
First of all, I have to say that I don't know too much about computers and I'm not sure if I can describe the problem well enough, but I hope you will be able to solve the problem anyhow.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and virtualbox-ose 3.08-dfsg-1ubuntu1. Wireless
driver

After I updated to 9.10 I also updated virtualbox. Everything worked
fine at start. For some reason I decided to use "System-maintenance-
clean computer" (by the way, I use Finnish ubuntu, so I'm not sure if
these links are "translated" correctly). Cleaning operation showed that
virtualbox 3.0.0 was obsolete and could be deleted. After that operation
I noticed that I could not find virtualbox at all. So I installed it
again through Synaptic.

After this re-installation there is problem with wireless internet
connection. It does not seem to work at all in windows-guest and it is
working very, very slow (if at all) in host. When I shut down the
windows client everything works fine in host computer. At least
rebooting the computer did not help.
