I have a failure with only some of my encrypted filesystems, of which I
have three. Here is my /etc/crypttab file:
sda3_crypt /dev/sda3 none luks
dm5-temp /dev/sda5 /dev/urandom tmp
dm6-swap /dev/sda6 /dev/urandom swap
For sda3, I get prompted for a password, and this filesystem (holding
root) is fine. For the other two, I have to wait over 10 seconds, with
1 or more instances of this message from mountall appearing: "One or
more of the mounts listed in /etc/fstab cannot yet be mounted:". Then
the boot continues.
But /tmp never gets mounted, and swap does not always get added. As
soon as the system boots, I can type "sudo mount /tmp" and get /tmp
mounted, and I can type "sudo swapon -a" and get swap added.
