[Bug 476407] [NEW] Audigy4 Pro break-out box poorly supported

Most features of the Audigy 4 Pro break-out box don't work in Karmic
(and in previous Ubuntu versions):

When connecting a microphone to the Mic In / Line1 In input on the
Audigy4 Pro break-out box, no sound can be recorded (input remains 0).
Also, no microphone input is shown in the Sound Preferences / Input
section whatsoever, using any sensible Profile (Digital Stereo Duplex,
Analog Stereo Duplex, Digital Output / Analog Stereo or Mono input).

The headphones output on the break-out box doesn't work in Karmic,
whereas it did work in Jaunty. However, the volume buttons on the break-
out box have never worked in any Ubuntu version I've tried, and continue
to not work in Karmic.

The digital (coaxial) output on the break-out box does work, but only
when selecting a profile which contains IEC958 output. In Jaunty, I
could use the analog outputs and digital output at the same time.
