For me the icon shows for a while, and suddenly it's gone. It doesn't
appear to be running either according to the output of 'ps ax | grep
power-manager'. It seems that it crashes somewhere, but I can't find any
logs that show this. When I start it again, the icon shows and the
button actions are performed again. Starting the settings when the icon
is not shown gives the error that the manager is not running.
Running Xubuntu 9.10 64 bit with xfce4-power-manager 0.8.4-1ubuntu1.
