[Bug 476860] [NEW] The automatically inserted Latex equivalent of the special character \ss should rather be {\ss}

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kile

The automatically inserted special characters like \"a when I press ä on a german keyboard are a very useful feature, thank you very much!
The only flaw is the \ss. When I type a german word containing it (e.g. Scheiße), Kile completes to Schei\sse and of course complains about the unknown command \sse.
When I type two words, the first one ending on \ss (e.g. Maß halten), the space after the \ss is eaten up, yielding Maßhalten in the processed document.
Both these things could be fixed by using a {\ss} instead of \ss.
I looked for a configuration file where these completions are defined, but I didn't find one.

** Affects: kile (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
