The current version of openal in karmic seems not to support the current version of the pulse audio libs.
This causes sound problems in current versions of ioquake3 for me and probably other software that uses openal on karmic.

Does the order of the "drivers =" part of /etc/openal/alsoft.conf make a difference?
Should this be set with pulse first in karmic?
