hi lars,

just for the record. step 4 gave:

~$ LC_NUMERIC=en_US sudo dpkg -r aiccu
dpkg: error processing aiccu (--remove):
 Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should
 reinstall it before attempting a removal.
Errors were encountered while processing:
 aiccu

so i just skipped it and installed -1.3. works now. thx
