Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: numactl

I have a amd 64bit and Ubuntu 8.10 server 64
if i type
> grep -i numa /boot/config*

/boot/config-2.6.27-15-server:CONFIG_ACPI_NUMA=y
/boot/config-2.6.27-15-server:CONFIG_K8_NUMA=y
/boot/config-2.6.27-15-server:CONFIG_NUMA=y
/boot/config-2.6.27-15-server:# CONFIG_NUMA_EMU is not set
/boot/config-2.6.27-15-server:CONFIG_X86_64_ACPI_NUMA=y

my numa ctl is:
Architecture: amd64
Version: 2.0.2-rc1

all work well but if I upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04 numa do not work anymore.
so I downgrade to Ubuntu 8.10
Next time I try to upgrade what bug test/log have to report to you?
There is a way to quick test Ubuntu 9.04 numactl without upgrade all?
(what if I try a live Ubuntu 9.04 and make test on this live? what test have todo?)

regards
