There is Debian-packaging of clusterssh-3.27 available in Debian:
http://packages.debian.org/sid/clusterssh.  This package should install
fine on Ubuntu 9.10:

http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/clusterssh/clusterssh_3.27-1_all.deb
