I have the same issue also.
I have Intel and ATi also, and i agree that this probably is a GTK issue but...

I have not seen this behaviour anywhere else. If there is a scrollbox used in
the same way in some other software then let me know then i can test that also.

Maybe there is a slightly different way this can be done in Do so the fault does
not arise?
