[Bug 480457] [NEW] mythtv frontend hogs audio device

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv

when mythtvfrontend.real is running no other program can use sound card.
Expected sounds to be produced concurrently.

mythtvfrontend audio is set to 'ALSA:default' in Audio Setup.
(Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> General)

Ubuntu Release: 9.10

mythtv:
  Installed: 0.22.0+fixes22594-0ubuntu1
 


Steps to reproduce:-
1. Start mythtvfrontend.real
2. Start another application (eg. vlc, rhythmbox, amaroc) and try and play any file that has sound.  (even a game.)
