This bug looks similar to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-

After some more googling around, I'm pretty sure that this issue is
actually this:

This is known in debian as: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=32550

Do you guys have installed your own install-info in /usr/local/ or
something? Or have multiple copies of install-info installed?
