[Bug 482865] [NEW] my sound is not workng

Public bug reported:

Basically i cant seem to get the program to find my sound card! I'm
running an IBM Thinkpad T20 (ancient, i know, but kubuntu works the best
on it!)

I'm running kubuntu 9.10 its the kmix audio program.
