[Bug 483077] [NEW] unable to install addons in Sea Monkey 1.1.17

I am unable o install any addon tried flashgot, Downthemall and adblockplus... the error reported is install script not found.
I am using seamonkey 1.1.17 on ubuntu 9.10...generated bug report attached
