If it's your business to circumvent filesystem security (by ignoring all
rights and offering a possibility to show every file) it should be your
business to warn people about that.
Encrypting the system is no solution (for multiuser-systems), except you
want to give out the key to every user.
Another solution would be to limit access of grub to files owned only by
a (configured or predefined) user. That would eleminate the need for
another password.
