Public bug reported:

When trying to install java from a terminal window, I was not able to
select OK to accept sun's licence in the blue screen that was displayed.
When I eventually came out of the blue screen the script indicated that
I had declined the licence and the Java installation failed.

Later on I used System->Administration->Synaptics Package Manager to
install java and was able to accept the licence within this tool. Java
installed OK after that.

I was using Ubuntu 9.10 running under Virtual Box with additions
installed. The host OS is Windows 7.
