[Bug 478710] Re: dvd::rip does not complete ripping of disc via gui in karmic

I think I may have found a plausible workaround for this issue by using
CLI for just the rip process and the dvd::rip GUI for the rest of the
project.  Currently preforming a few tests to validate.  I will post my
findings if they prove to be accurate.
