[Bug 485679] [NEW] Seed ratio limit setting inadequate

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: deluge

Ubuntu 9.10 2.6.31-14-generic x86_64
deluge 1.1.9+dfsg-1

I'd like to have a certain seed ratio limit applied to all new torrents by default.
If I set a global limit in the preferences, that limit applies to ALL torrents in the queue, even the ones I want to seed indefinitely.

Manually setting these to -1 is not possible, setting them to 0 does not
keep them going. Although setting them to a very high ratio does keep
them running, this conflicts with another bug.

I also tried selecting a list of torrents and applying the limit
manually in the options tab, however the setting only applies to the
item selected last.

I suggest either an option of applying certain default parameters to new
torrents (but not the one already in the list), or creating the
possibility of modifying the setting of multiple torrents at once, or
having the global settings ignored in case they have been set manually
for a torrent, in which case the possibility of setting -1 in the limit
ratio would be nice too.

** Affects: deluge (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
