Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet
The current ConsoleKit policy only allows administrators to shutdown or
restart the machine when more than one user is logged in (ordinary users
cannot shutdown or restart in this scenario). When just one user is
logged in, he should be able to shutdown the machine.
The fast-user-switch-applet does not currently do this. If there is more
than one desktop user created in the system and you try to shutdown or
restart the machine, the result is PolicyKit authentication dialog:
"System prevents stopping the system when other users are logged in."
org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.stop-multiple-users
Description: Ubuntu karmic
Release: 9.10
** Affects: fast-user-switch-applet (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
