[Bug 485800] [NEW] Mythfrontend freezes after upgraded Kubuntu 9.04 -> 9.10

Binary package hint: mythtv

After upgrading Kubuntu 9.04 to Kubuntu 9.10, the MythUI freezes after
around 30 seconds. I haven't seen anything in the logs, but I'll take an
extra look and attach them to this case later today.

If I during the 30 seconds start wathing TV, TV continues playing, but I
can not get access to the "Menu" by pressing the M key, nor can I quite
the TV viewer by pressing the ESC key.

This is reproducable on a laptop computer (Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook) and
a desktop system (Intel PIV, 2Gb ram, NVidia card running NVidia
proprietary drivers.

This little bug renders MythTV useless.
