Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: geany

This is a simple low-critical fastidious bug.
Editing a file in a smb:// position over .gvfs/ (Gnome extension), for example a .php file, geany adds a "\n" (newline) saving the file (CTRL+S). Not a real bug, but a fastidious in some code indent applications.
